Welcome to Maggini-in-Tweed

As I’ve been traveling around the internet a lot more, I thought I’d make a place where you could find out more about me. No matter where you’ve seen me before, here I am.

You can find more of my at my other blog, Eavesdroppers. Check it out here.

 Here’s a basic introduction.

  • I am Maggini-in-Tweed. If you don’t know what I mean by that, it’s literally this:

  • I am a musician, of course. I can play most anything with strings (violin, harp, guitar, dulcimer, etc.) along with the piano and the kalimba. Music’s what I do. I’m a violin teacher. (Sadly enough, I must also be a student.)
  • I appreciate music of all sorts. As long as it actually sounds like music.
  • I love to read anything put in front of me. I’d love to write a book of my own someday, but I’m too loaded down with ideas to actually get anything done.
  • I love the travel. Whether I actually get on a plane and go somewhere, get in the car and drive, or just walk around the town, it gives me a certain thrill to be going somewhere new and different. I’ve been to many different countries and most of the United States.
  • Part of the travel thing is that I love people from other parts of the world. I think it’s so interesting to meet (meaning watch and observe) other people.
  • I marvel at how little I can actually sit down and write about myself. My Self is not what I know best. Ah well…I have the rest of my life to figure that one out. Right now I shall blog.
